O jogo que decidia o terceiro e quarto lugares do Campeonato foi incaracterístico e nem sempre bem jogado, com a Itália a mostrar-se mais e a impor supremacia. A vitória italiana nunca esteve em dúvida não obstante a Bielorrússia ter, aqui e ali, batido o pé à squadra azzurra, pejada de nomes argentinos.

The match that defined the 3^rd and the 4^th places was very lukewarm and not well played. Italy began ahead but Belarus drew 1-1. Italy scored the second even on the first half.
On the second half, Italy increased the score to 5-1 on the first minutes, and then to 6-1. Balarus reduced, but Italy scored the 7^th. On the last minute, Belarus fixed the final 7-3.

PORTUGAL 0 x 4 GALES
 
O primeiro golo de Gales surge de canto curto. Poucos minutos depois, outro curto contra Portugal quando um jogador galês deu pé. Consultado, o árbitro espanhol desfez o erro. Felizmente.
Tantas contingências enervaram a equipa portuguesa que se perdeu um pouco, e, num erro próprio, consentiu o segundo golo de Gales.
Era este o resultado ao intervalo.
A segunda parte abriu com dois golos de Gales, de rajada, e a sorte ficou escrita. Até porque não haveria mais golos.
O grande objective era a final e consequente subida de divisão. Foi atingido! Com uma equipa praticamente sub/18 e sub/23, nada mais poderíamos exigir dos nossos jogadores. Eles superaram-se no jogo que garantiu tudo: a meia-final contra a Itália.
Mais folgados, portadores de uma compleição física invejável e muita prática para as bolas divididas, Gales é um justo campeão.
A esta selecção portuguesa, se se mantiver unida, reserve-se, desde já, um future risonho. Eles merecem todos os elogios possíveis.

The first goal of the match occur from a penaty corner. A few minutes later, another one. Fortunately the Spanish umpire advised a Welsh foot and the match advanced with a fault against Wales. But the Portuguese team seemed nervous with all and one own mistake gave the second goal to Wales.
0-2 was the score at the end of first half.
Wales, on the second half, controlled the match and scored the 3^rd and the 4^th, easily. With such score it was impossible to the Portuguese team make better. But they were brave.
Wales is the champion and it’s fair.
