As the EuroHockey Indoor Championship II - Espinho 2016 is almost here, the organization of the event decided to interview some persons of interest that will be part of the event taking place between 15th to 17^th January. This time, the Scottish umpire, Gavin Cruickshanks, kindly answered a few questions about his expectations on the event, as well as his thoughts about the country hosting the event, Portugal.
 
What are your expectations? 
I expect the tournament to be a high level of exciting hockey of varying styles of play and a good test for the umpires. Expectation is that the games will be tense much like most indoor games. 
 
Do you know Portugal? What do you think of the country? 
This will be my first visit to Portugal.
