As the EuroHockey Indoor Junior Championship, Men - Lisbon 2017 approaches, it is time to get to know the main characters of the event taking place between 13th to 15th January.
 
Dmitry Zhabin, one of the EuroHockey Lisbon 2017 National Umpires, kindly shared his thoughts about the incoming tournament, as well as his opinion about the hosting country, Portugal.


As one of the EuroHockey Lisbon 2017 National Umpires, what do you expect of this tournament?
I want to get the real enjoyment of participating in these games. It's great experience for me. I hope I will get some important knowledge to improve my skills in the future. It will be the next umpiring level in my career.
 
Have you ever visited Portugal or Lisbon?
I have never visited Portugal yet.
 
What are you hoping to find?
I'd like to get the opportunity for sightseeing including visiting some of the cultural treasures of Lisbon. Besides, I'd like to meet my friends and make acquaintance of new ones.
